Website copywriter and content writer in Singapore

Website and homepage copy that says who you are, who you help, and why to act, and still ranks. Written page by page so the site holds one sales message rather than five.

Your website should be a sales machine

An online brochure that lists what you do gets tossed aside. A sales-generating website is different: it is the best salesperson in your company, working around the clock. If a designer or developer pitches you a site and skips how it will generate leads or sales, that is a red flag, no matter how good it looks.

The usual failure is not ugliness. It is a site that describes the company accurately and gives the visitor no reason to do anything about it.

It starts with your USP and your customer

Most businesses do not have a sharp unique selling proposition, or a reason for a reader to act. Before writing, I dig into your product, your customers and the problems keeping them up at night, through interviews, reviews and research, then position your site as the solution they have been searching for.

That research is the part most people skip, and it is where the results come from. It runs through the CULTIVATE method, so the reasoning arrives with the copy rather than after an argument about it.

What each page on your site should do

A website that sells is not a set of stand-alone pages. Each has a job in the journey:

  • Homepage: make a stranger understand what you do, who it is for, and the next step, in seconds.
  • About: build trust by connecting your story to the reader’s problem, not just your history.
  • Service pages: speak to one need each, with the proof and the call to action that fits it.
  • Pricing: answer the question everyone has and most sites dodge, or explain plainly why you quote instead.
  • Contact: remove friction so acting is easy and the next step is obvious.

Written together, the pages hold one sales message and guide visitors toward becoming customers. The About page is the one most often wasted. It is usually the second most visited page on a small business site and it is usually a company history nobody asked for.

Website copywriting or website content writing?

Both terms get used for this work and they pull in slightly different directions. Website content writing usually means the pages that inform: guides, resource pages, blog content that earns traffic. Website copywriting means the pages that have to convert: the homepage, the service pages, the one with the form on it.

Most sites need both, and the common mistake is buying the first while expecting the result of the second. If what you actually need is search visibility across a set of connected pages, that is SEO copywriting and content writing. If you need the pages that close, this is the one.

SEO website copy

Pages structured around the terms your buyers search, written to rank and to be cited by AI overviews, while staying persuasive. Search and persuasion working together rather than against each other: titles and headings that match real queries, internal links that make the structure legible, and copy underneath that still asks for something.

Frequently asked questions

Do you rewrite an existing website or start fresh?

Either. I can refresh what you have or write a new site from a sitemap. A short audit tells us which is worth it, and a rework is often cheaper than a rebuild when the structure is sound and only the message is off.

What is the difference between a website copywriter and a website content writer?

A content writer produces the pages that inform and earn traffic. A copywriter writes the pages that have to convert: the homepage, the service pages, the one with the form on it. Most sites need both, and buying the first while expecting the second is the most common reason a website refresh produces nothing.

Will the copy be optimised for SEO?

Yes. Copy is written for the reader first and structured for search and AI citation second, so it does both jobs. Structure is part of the writing rather than something bolted on afterwards.

How many pages can you write?

From a single homepage to a full site. Larger sites are scoped page by page against priority, and it is usually smarter to do the five pages that carry the traffic properly than thirty pages thinly.

Do you work with my designer or developer?

Yes, and it works best when the copy comes first. Designing a layout and then asking a writer to fill it means the argument has to fit the boxes rather than the boxes fitting the argument.

What does website copywriting cost in Singapore?

Quoted per project, driven by the number of pages and the research behind them. How I price sets out the three ways copywriters charge and what moves a quote.
