Speaking
Copywriting and marketing speaker in Singapore
Talks and keynotes on copywriting, direct response and marketing that sells, for events and conferences. Examples first, theory second, and something the room can use on Monday.
ACLP-certified trainer. Adjunct lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic. Audiences have ranged from founders and marketing teams to polytechnic students and youth groups.
Topics I speak on
- What direct response really is, and why it still works. The difference between marketing that is admired and marketing that is measured.
- Writing for AI search and modern buyers. Why being quoted by an answer engine is a different job from ranking, and what has to change on the page.
- The practitioner who teaches. Building real marketing skill inside a team instead of outsourcing it forever.
- Why your content gets traffic and no enquiries. The gap between being found and being chosen, for rooms that have invested in content and seen nothing back.
Topics are a starting point rather than a menu. If your theme is close to one of these, the talk gets rebuilt around your theme.
Formats
Keynotes, breakout sessions, panels and interactive talks, typically 30 to 90 minutes. Tailored to your audience, from founders to marketing teams to students.

What it looks like on the day
I speak the way I teach: examples first, theory second, and something the room can use on Monday.
Every talk is built around one takeaway you choose in advance. If your audience should leave able to do a specific thing, tell me what it is and the session gets shaped around it.
A talk cannot teach a skill, and any speaker who promises otherwise is selling you the wrong format. What a talk can do is change what a room believes, which is usually the thing standing in the way.
What organisers get
- A speaker bio, headshot and session description for your programme, supplied on confirmation
- Slides built for your theme, not a deck recycled from the last event
- A pre-event conversation to agree the one takeaway and the audience level
- Straightforward AV needs: a screen, a mic, and a clicker
If your audience would be better served by a working session than a talk, I will say so and point you at workshops instead.
Frequently asked questions
What do you speak about?
Copywriting, direct response, writing for AI search, and practical marketing, tailored to the event and audience. The four topics above are starting points rather than a fixed menu.
Do you tailor the talk to our event?
Yes. Every talk is shaped around your theme, audience and desired takeaway, agreed in a short conversation before the event. Slides are built for your event rather than recycled.
How long is a typical talk?
Usually 30 to 90 minutes depending on the slot and whether there is Q and A. Shorter keynotes work best with a single idea; longer sessions can include a short exercise.
What audiences do you speak to?
Founders, marketing and communications teams, educators, polytechnic students and youth groups. The examples change with the room; the principles do not.
Do you speak at events outside Singapore?
Yes, across the Asia Pacific region, and online for virtual events.
How do we book you?
Send the event details, date, audience and theme through the contact page and I will reply with availability and a fee. If the fit is wrong I will say so rather than take the booking.
