Certification
Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) from the Institute for Adult Learning, 2023. ACLP is the national credential for adult educators in Singapore and is recognised by SkillsFuture Singapore.
For a client, the certificate matters less than the method behind it. ACLP is where you learn to design a session around what people must be able to do afterwards, rather than around what the trainer wants to say.
Teaching credentials
Adjunct lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic. Lecturer and trainer for Capital College of the Arts, Management and Technology (CCAMT) and the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS).
At Singapore Polytechnic the modules are Common Core, in Life Skills and Communications: personal branding and career agility, collaboration in the digital age, and digital communication for impact. At SIRS, from 2022 to 2025, the subject was content management.
The teaching travels
In 2025 and 2026 I facilitated overseas learning expeditions, running sessions and classroom lessons for students at partner institutions abroad and closing each programme with the thank-you speech.
It is a harder room than a Singapore boardroom. Different first languages, different assumptions about what a marketing message is allowed to claim, and no shared shorthand to fall back on. What survives that is method rather than patter, and method is what transfers to your team.
What the credentials buy you
Two things. The first is that a session is designed rather than improvised: objectives set before slides, practice built in, and a way to tell afterwards whether anything actually changed.
The second is that the person teaching still does the work. I write direct-response and SEO copy for clients every week, so the examples are current and nothing gets taught that I have not had to make work for a paying client.
Industry track record
Over a decade designing and running direct-response campaigns for clients across SaaS, healthcare, e-commerce and B2B. Alongside it: more than 500 working adults trained since 2015, and over 300 polytechnic students since 2024.
