Exam Practice Timer

Timed practice that feels like the real thing

Past papers only build exam temperament if the clock is real. Students who revise untimed consistently misjudge how long a question takes, then lose marks at the end of a paper they actually knew.

This opens as a single 40-minute block. Change the length to match your paper, then set a warning chime in Settings for the call you would normally make out loud — ten, five or one minute remaining. In a silent room, leave the sound off: the ring turns amber with a fifth of the time left and a brighter alert colour with a tenth left, which invigilates for you without breaking the quiet. Project it fullscreen and use A+ to size the digits for the back row. The countdown is worked out from the clock, so it stays correct even if the laptop sleeps or the tab sits in the background.
